11 March 2026: On the occasion of the drafting of a Local Urban Plan for the Municipality of Saronikos, Fotoessa took part in a meeting of active citizens of the municipality, who briefed us on key spatial planning and environmental issues, such as the local streams connected to the beaches, as well as the significance of the archaeological monuments that form part of the cultural capital of the coastal zone. The meeting, held in the welcoming setting of the Garden of Kalmi, strengthened networking among the area’s active citizens, planned further initiatives and joint actions with the municipal authority, and enriched our information material for the European Erasmus KA2 project “Guardians of the Coasts”, which Fotoessa is implementing with the Portuguese organisation Aequalitas.
